Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what data Omoggle Game ("Omoggle", "we", "our", "us") collects when you use omogglegame.com (the "Service"), why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to all users, including paid customers.
1. Summary in plain English
- Camera frames stay on your device. The PSL scan runs entirely in your browser. We never upload, store or transmit raw video to our servers.
- Live matches are peer-to-peer. Your video is sent directly to your matched opponent over WebRTC. We never receive a copy.
- What we keep is minimal: ELO history, match outcomes, anonymous analytics events, and — if you upgrade — the email Creem associates with your purchase.
- We do not sell personal data. Ever.
1A. What Omoggle is — and what it is NOT
Because some user-generated camera platforms have been associated with prohibited categories, we want to be unambiguous about what this Service is:
- It is a 1v1 timed video face-off game with an on-device facial-keypoint score and a global ELO leaderboard.
- It is NOT an AI image or video generation product. We do not generate, render, synthesize, paint or upscale faces. The PSL score is computed from the geometric distances between facial keypoints (MediaPipe FaceMesh) running locally in your browser.
- It is NOT a deepfake, face-swap, face-replacement, virtual-try-on, beautify-AI, age-progression or face-manipulation tool. We do not modify or transform the appearance of any human face.
- It is NOT a dating site, hookup platform or matchmaking-for-romance service. Matches are short, anonymous, game-bound 1v1 video rounds for ranking purposes only.
- It is NOT an NSFW or sexually-explicit content platform. Sexually explicit content is strictly prohibited (see Acceptable Use Policy), enforced via the camera permission flow, an 18+ acknowledgment gate, and the right to ban without refund.
Because we are not an AI generation product, the Creem Moderation API requirement (which applies to AI image/video generation merchants) does not apply to us.
2. Data we collect
2.1 You provide directly
- Display name & preferences stored locally in your browser (localStorage). Optional.
- Email address when you make a purchase, contact support, or claim a Pro unlock.
- Support correspondence if you email us.
2.2 Collected automatically
- Match metadata — anonymous IDs assigned per session, queue start/end timestamps, match outcomes (win/loss/forfeit), audience vote splits, ELO deltas. Used for matchmaking, leaderboard and abuse detection.
- Device & usage analytics — page views, button clicks, viewport size, referrer, approximate region (from IP geolocation), browser type. Collected via Google Analytics 4 (gtag) with anonymized IP.
- Technical logs — request timestamps, error messages, signaling-server connection events. Retained up to 30 days for security and debugging.
2.3 Camera & microphone
When you start a camera check or PSL scan we request camera access via your browser's standard prompt. Frames are processed by the open-source MediaPipe FaceMesh model running locally inside your browser. Camera frames are never uploaded to our servers. During a live 1v1 match, your camera stream is relayed peer-to-peer (WebRTC) directly to your opponent — we operate only the WebSocket signaling channel that helps you find each other; we do not see, decode or store the media.
3. Payment data & Merchant of Record
Payments are processed by Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Estonia), which acts as the Merchant of Record (MoR) for all sales on omogglegame.com. This means Creem is the legal seller of record for your purchase, handles VAT/sales tax compliance in 190+ countries, processes the card transaction, and issues the receipt and invoice in their name.
Card details are entered on Creem's checkout page and never reach our infrastructure. Creem shares with us only a redacted purchase record (order ID, customer ID, email, product, amount, country) so we can grant you Pro access and provide support. Creem's own Buyer Terms and Privacy Notice govern how they handle the personal data you submit to them.
As MoR, Creem reserves the right to issue refunds within 60 days of a purchase at its discretion to prevent chargebacks and protect customers — see our Refund Policy for details.
4. How we use data
