Cancellation Policy
This Cancellation Policy explains how to cancel a purchase, an account, or a recurring subscription on Omoggle Game. For refund eligibility and timing after cancellation, please also read our Refund Policy.
1. Free play accounts
Free Omoggle accounts can be deleted at any time at zero cost.
You don't need to email us — your locally stored profile is
discarded the moment you clear your browser's site data for
omogglegame.com. To also delete the pseudonymous
server-side record (ELO, match history, nickname), email
support@omogglegame.com
with the device ID shown in Settings → About, or simply
your nickname plus rough creation date — we'll find it.
We process verified deletion requests within 30 days in line with GDPR Art. 17 ("right to erasure"). A confirmation email is sent once deletion is complete.
2. One-time purchases (Omoggle Pro)
Omoggle Pro is currently sold as a one-time purchase — there is no subscription, no auto-renewal, and no recurring billing. There is therefore nothing to "cancel" in the recurring-billing sense.
If you no longer want Pro and want your money back, see Refund Policy §1 — the 14-day no-questions window applies. After 14 days, refund eligibility is case-by-case (Refund Policy §2) but we'll always honor mandatory consumer-protection rights granted by your country of residence (e.g. EU/UK distance-selling rules).
To cancel a Pro upgrade in the 14-day window, email
support@omogglegame.com
with your order ID (ord_…) and the email used at
checkout. We will:
- Initiate the refund through Creem (our Merchant of Record);
- Revoke the Pro entitlement on the linked account / device; and
- Email you a confirmation once Creem has issued the refund (typically 5–10 business days back to the original card).
3. Subscriptions (when offered in the future)
Omoggle does not currently sell subscription products. If we introduce subscriptions later, the following will apply:
- Self-service cancel: every subscription will have a "Cancel subscription" button inside your account (Account → Billing) and inside Creem's Customer Portal. One click; no retention dark patterns.
- Effective immediately, billing stops: cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access until that date, then the entitlement silently expires — no further charges.
- Pro-rated refund on request: if you cancel mid-period and would prefer a pro-rated refund of the unused portion, email us and we'll process it (subject to abuse checks).
- 30-day data retention after cancel: your account stays usable in free mode after cancellation. Match history is retained per our Privacy Policy; you can request deletion at any time.
4. Cancellation by us
We may cancel or suspend your account or purchase if any of the following occur (in each case the relevant clause of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy governs):
- Material breach of the Acceptable Use Policy (e.g. NSFW exposure, harassment, minor-related content, deepfake/face-swap attempts).
- Repeated chargebacks, refund-cycle abuse, or evidence of "friendly fraud".
- Operation of automated, scripted or otherwise inauthentic match traffic.
- A legal order or take-down notice we are required to comply with.
Where the cancellation is due to user misconduct under the Acceptable Use Policy, no refund is owed (Refund Policy §4). Where the cancellation is for our convenience and not your fault, we will refund any unused paid period.
5. EEA / UK 14-day cooling-off statutory right
If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you may have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and equivalent UK / CH law to withdraw from a distance contract. By choosing to start using Omoggle Pro immediately, you acknowledge and agree that this right may be extinguished once the digital service is fully delivered with your prior express consent. Even where this exception applies, we still grant the 14-day no-questions refund described in Refund Policy §1 — there is no need to invoke the statutory right separately.
